Strange Things to Do with Biscuits

Besides being tasty, biscuits can be made in seasonal shapes! (Not that a flag is appropriate to the season, but I mostly have star cookie cutters.) Cutting biscuits in slabs or squares is a great way to simplify the process and not mess with re-rolling the dough.

My favourite thing to do with leftover biscuits is to fry up several slices of bacon, fry biscuit crumbs in the resulting bacon fat, and then scramble up the bacon (crumbled) and biscuit crumbs with an egg. It makes a very nice (albeit heavy) breakfast. --DJ

Sounds good. We don't eat bacon around here, but I'll have to suggest it to my dad--sounds like it would be right up his alley.
